I have the same problem, a lot of mine is caused by vertigo. I recently had some testing done that showed development of an inner ear problem which causes the vertigo. Hop this helps.

I just had 3 day bout of severe vertigo followed by hearing loss on the right side. My hearing has returned somewhat but it still feels like water on the ear.

When it comes it feels like the ocean rushing through my ears muffling voices. Irritating!

Hi, my husband has MS and he hearing has changed like that. So your not alone. I am looking for an answer too.
