I also experience this, but for now it's a sporadic occurrence. I write as much as I can, then stop. I'm taking Aleve, Glucosamine, and Flax Seed Oil Capsules for inflammation, which helps some. I'm on Gabapentin to help me sleep at night.
Stress adds to the pains in the hands too.
Yes my hands have ached for years. I have had carpul (Spelling?) tunnel surgery on both wrists. I do have arthritus in my thumbs and have had trigger finger in several fingers.I can't spell anything since my brain has been so fried with lesions. I did find some relief when I wore wrist splints at night.
Thanks. I take Aleve twice a day and gabapentin I take 5 tabs a day. I have never heard of the other 2 things.
Limited use of my hands was actually one of my first symptoms. It is sometimes worse than others but it is always a problem. My hands often feel numb and achy and there are times when I can't write or use them. My neuro prescribed gabetin for this.
If anyone has found something else that works, please let me know.
