I find yoga relieves hip pain like nothing else.

I have that pain. Feels somewhat like menstrual but in groin (deeo, pusating burn) then hip hurts like you slep on it wrong.

I get hip and lower back pain. My right hip and SI joint pop out of place all the time. Sometimes they'll go back in place with a little stretching and yoga, sometimes they wont. In those cases I need to go to the chiropractor, but usually have no way to get there. What I do for pain is chair yoga, swimming an hour a day, medical massage twice a month, and the occasional aspirin. I also take turmeric capsules and add fresh ginger to my tea. They help with inflammation. There are lots of other foods that reduce inflammation, you can Google it.

I have to do chair yoga. If I managed to get myself onto the floor I'd have to call the fire department to hoist me back up. But there are some excellent hip stretches you can do while sitting in a chair. Look on youtube.
