I have groin pain, especially during my period, and it often radiates to my hip and upper leg. Has anyone else experienced this?
I've had MS for years now and the pain I would have around/during my period extremely intensified and was always in my legs(mainly upper thighs). But for a year now l too am having the deep hip pain along with the thigh pain still. I feel it is definitely MS related during menstruation. I've heard of others having similar symptoms worsening during it. Some opted for hysterectomies stating it eliminated the extremity of those individual symptoms only. I always say I should do it but so far I keep chickening out!
Well I get cramps but not in the groin unless it starts inside the kneed and that is where it ends up at. BUT I have not had a menstrual problem since I was 23 years old. I was pregnant when the DR said I have cancer fibers and they wanted to do a hysterectomy but the chances were I could loose the baby and I said NO...so I carried full term and had a hysterectomy after my son was born. And YES we wanted another child but it wasn't to be. I wish you luck and love and many prayers!
Thank you! It is always nice to know that I am not crazy or imagining these things.
I'm Primary Progressive MS. I get that exact same pain. It's worse in the morning. 800 mg. Ibuprophin pill plus half a Baclofen pill give me some relief, but make me sleepy. I'd like to know what causes that.
Prayers for you
