Visit your local Social Security Administration office. I did and found them quite helpful in determining what I would receive on regular social security at age 62 and going on SSI before age 62.

Having a job IS something to be thankful for these day however that's not exactly what I meant. Fatigue is a MAJOR MS Issue as Balance. coordination is too. It is a very good suggestion to ask your Neurologist their opinion! If your Neuro believes that it is time then you have your answer! Fatigue in itself is enough to make a person disabled at times. Just talk to you doctor first before you decide to or not to apply. :)

Time to have a talk with your Neurologist. His/her recommendation will go a long way when you apply. I was approved in 3 months, no lawyer needed. However, I'm convinced it's because my Neuro told me it was time to apply, and backed me 100%. Good luck.

I had my Neurologist back me up 100% . I got SSI first time applying. I have Primary Progressive M S .You have done your time it seems now you should go for it .

I just started the process in California and it takes6 mths to apply. I am very nervous I may get denied hearing all the horror stories out there.
