I start my mornings rolling over to take my meds, sit up in bed with coffee until meds kick in . Its hard to get going and I have layed in bed too long. It is best to get up and get moving after a little while of waking up time. I don't recommend darting out of bed .

Mornings are the worst most of the time because of the amount of pain I am in when I awake. I take a zillion meds, brush my teeth and wait it out. right now the pain is higher because I broke four ribs with a fall. The thing with MS is it ebbs and flows. When I have had it, it is because I am not accepting something about it. I did not ask for this disease; but now that I have it, I try to make the best of it. write me anytime. Maybe if you do that in the morning it will help you. Hope this message has helped

Yes, mornings are most definitely the worst for me. The spasticity is really bad especially if I wear socks to bed because I'm cold at night. Consequently, it's hard to make plans for too early in the morning, but I can't schedule appointments too late in the afternoon because I might be too tired. For some strange reason, I get a second wind later in the evening when I should be going to bed, but I don't want to miss an opportunity to accomplish something. I feel like I'm constantly juggling activities due to my health.

Thanks for the response. Like everyone else I never asked for this either. I never asked for cancer but got that too. To me it is simply a challenge that must be overcome. Not a problem. As far as the morning pain goes. I find the quicker I start forcing myself to move the better it is, for me anyway. I believe I have these challenges put in front of me simply to help other people who are going thought the same stuff. All I can say is "living the dream". Hang in there. Reach out anytime.
