I Had the same problems. I watched as handfuls of hair blew off my head with the wind blowing. I collected a large target bag of my hair for 6 months. Doctors were speachless. Sent me to a skin dr. He said it was tramitized hair. I quit copaxone. The hair stopped falling. ...it took a while for it to stop.

Be Sure that you are eating a healthy, balanced diet , water and a little excerise....it plays a big part also.

Even my doctor Doesn't believe me! @A MyMSTeam Member it's so frustrating because I know it wouldn't be anything else and it's hard enough living with MS I don't want to lose my hair on too of it.

I had good luck with Copaxone. No symptoms at all. I'm not on it now, though. Went to Tecfidera just to get off the shots. Good luck!

I am scheduled to start Gilenya as soon as I get my insurance figured out. From my understanding, hair loss is not a side effect of Gilenya. My neuro told me the most common side effects she sees from it is headaches and diarrhea, all which seem to get better within the first few months.
