I was just diagnosed 2 months ago. Have seen some symptoms improve and others not. Several new symptoms have occured over those 2 months. Now I'm getting newer symptoms over the past couple of days. I've fallen twice recently (stupid flip flops, not balance or otherwise) Could this make new symptoms occur? Is it the beginning of a relapse, since I don't feel like I ever got over the first?
I think 2 months isn't really enough time to know much just listen 2 your best instincts & if you don't feel right get your doctor 2 help you find out why
Feels like frost bite that won't go away.
MRIs are not conclusive. There are other conditions that can cause lesions. Lumbar Punctures are used to verify the dx in ways that can't be determined via MRI. And I had no headache at all.
It takes a while for symptoms to go away. My doctor says that anything within six months of a flare-up is not considered a new one. One of the hardest things to do is to rest once you feel better, but overdoing it can set you back in recovery. Get a good neurologist that specializes in MS so that you will get good advice. What meds did they put you on?
I agree KimberlieRoseWehrman. I have gone through small relapses and 2 larger ones in the past 8 months. I just listen to my own body, yours might fluctuate and some things are worse for a bit then others, or new things may show up. Call your doctor and get in. Tracking these changes and dealing with symptoms earlier can help you feel better.
