Anyone else have luck with essentisl oils?? I started using essential oils a year ago with great success!
They have helped with my sleep issues, pain, cognitive issues and just have given me a better outlook with this disease!! ๐
I use Frankincense on my brain stem and on my wrists at least 3 times a day. I use a blend of cypress, marjoram and thyme on my muscle spasms. I made my own blend specifically for MS out of Basil, Sandalwood, Helichysum and Frankicense. I use an oil called Joy that has bergamont, ylang ylang, rose, german chamoille, lemon and lavender. It is great for beating those down in the dump days!! I diffuse peppermint every morning and use it on my temples for my headaches. I now make all my own facial moisturizers, deoderants, body creams, etc and put essential oils in them. The best thing I use is for sleep!! I never was able to get a full night's sleep. I have made a sleep cream that I use coconut oil, beeswax and put lavender, cedarwood and veviter in and rub on my feet before I go to bed. I also diffuse cedarwood and lavender, I have never slept so good in years. I think when you can get a good night sleep, it makes a world of difference. My husband also has self taught himself to do a massage called a 'rainbow technique' with a series of oils that he does at least once a month. It makes an amazing difference. I also use a 'pain cream' that I make up with coconut oil, and 4 different oils specifically used for pain. Sorry to ramble.....I just love my essential oils and my health has benefited so much from them. Use a diffuser with lavender at night. Some companies like Simply Aroma have blends like the lullaby. Blends have more than one oil in them and can be cheaper than buying separate.
Frankincense is the most beneficial and universal. It can be used for anything! Mouth infection...1 drop a day, headaches, rashes etc., Pinterest it...great stuff
