It sounds silly but I swear I've had maybe 3 mosquito bites since starting Rebif 6 years ago. I live in the Midwest. We've got lots of mosquitoes
I've decided the bugs can smell the meds and leave me alone. The ona benefit of the meds.
I have noticed the same...
I hadn't even made the connection, but no, I haven't gotten one mosquito bite this year and they're definitely present at each of my boys football practices and games. Maybe they're like the zombies on "World War Z," they want a healthy host... Lol
We must stink of medicine. But I do remember reading that taking B vitamins can keep the mosquitos away (dont know if that's true or not). Also, when I worked at a summer camp, after a few weeks none of us got bit anymore. I guess we smelled like outside so they left us alone. :) But come to think of it, I havent had any bites and my kids got eaten up. Interesting!
I'm on Tysabri and I never get bite by mosquitos. Everybody around me does. Smart mosquitos. Just once I'd like to see a mosquito bite me so I can watch it fly around like it doesn't know where its going and fly into the wall.
