I do not care for medications and have been on copaxone for 2 weeks. I don't care for it but understand the need for it. The whole process takes longer than I expected (45 minutes) due to the need to ice the area where I inject. So factor in more time than you may have thought, respect the need for medication, remember you are the one in control and the medication is there to assist you. Reading this website makes me realize I have to readjust my attitude towards medication, but I am not there yet.

I am about as anti-medication as you can get. However, you need to use every tool in your arsenal against this disease. I use Tecfidera without any problems. If you cant live with the side effects (assuming you have any) then work with your doctor to find something that does. Try not to be too anxious. Stress is the enemy of MS, so try to channel your inner Buddah. Easier said than done, but try. :-)

I used copaxone for years. The one and only thing you will get is a itchy bump at the shot site.
