Supposed to start Gilenya in a couple weeks can i get some feedback on what to expect please id really appreciate it ..
Good luck with everything
I'm on it,I started Gilenya about a month ago.It does seem to be working. They will come to your home to give you the first dose,I liked that. And their is only like a half a percent your heart will beat to slow. They do a EKG before and after.they were here about six hours. They checked heartbeat and blood pressure. It was really no big deal.Really nothing to be afraid of.So don't be scared. And good luck!
I was first on techfidera and had severe stomach cramping so had to stop and switch meds. I was a little worried about switching to Gilenya because of all the pre tests I had to go through (eye tests, EKG, blood, etc). I have been on it a year and a half and have had no side effects. It is a daily pill that I take in the mornings when I wake up. Overall it has helped my MS and my lesions appeared "less intense/bright" than before. I do have to have to get annual eye checks but the eye doctor told he has yet to have a patient have side effects from Gilenya. I know there are different meds because we all react differently to medication. Best of luck.
@A MyMSTeam Member I'm sorry to hear that is it a bad one of one you think it'll take care of its self without the steroids keep me updated on whats going on care hope you get better soon k😯
