Did you experience any side effects? I'm on it as an alternative to gabapentin due to side effects.

I'm on Baclofen (70 mg per day divided over 3 doses) and Tizanidine for spasticity. It's not perfect, but I definitely know when I miss a dose. Spasticity is my worst symptom (so far.) Side effect wise - nothing really. I've been on it for 10 years. The only issue I have to mindful of - since I am on the higher end of the dose spectrum, I can't just suddenly stop taking it because of serious complications that could occur. I am also using medical cannabis to treat spasticity because Baclofen and Tizanidine are not enough to keep a lid on it.

I hesitated to reply because I don't want to scare anyone. My situation with spasticity is complicated.

I have been on it for years. Need to be careful on dosage. I found out I NEEDED some spasticity to walk. Too much Baclofen for you can make you floppy.

My Neurologist prescribed it to me but thank God I research all medications before I take them . I was not able to take it with other medications that I’m on . I go to Pain Management and they prescribed Topiramate which is for Nerve pain and really does not have many side effects as far as I’m concerned. Also I take Tramadol at night with it . Actually works pretty well together.

I was prescribed that at first for my spasms . I have a history of migraines and had to stop. It helped with the spasms but was keeping me so nauseated from the migraines that had picked up I had to stop.
