Is anyone else so tired all the time? Despite sometimes managing to sleep for 9-10 hours
Waking up in throughout the night with dead legs/arms when a couple of months ago this never happened, now I can't stay in the same position for longer than about 30 minutes without getting sore/pins and needles/dead arms and legs
Waking up feeling no more refreshed then before going to sleep. Doing the smallest of things but being so tired, then sometimes doing so much and not being tired at all?

When I can't sleep I get up and do something , and try again after half hour. Always get up at the same time each day for breakfast and coffee up for at.least one hour. There have been times that I get up and fall asleep right away. Those days suck but as always "this to shall pass. No two days will ever be the same.keep your chin up.
I could have written your question. I'm tired of being tired too!!! Sleeping doesn't help. You learn to prioritize what you need to do, pace yourself, and listen to your body. It's the boss now!!!!!!!!
I sleep for 10-14 hours each night and can't remember the last time I felt refreshed, sometimes I could easily fall asleep again after only being up for an hour, although I never do.
Your recent diagnosis is a shock to the system and it will take a while to adjust, there's lots of panic sprinkled with a bit of madness at your stage.
There's a fine line between speaking to friends and them not being able to handle it, unless you have it you can't possibly understand. You'll probably find out who your true friends are and some will end up disappearing from your life.
Try to not over do talking to them about your misery, if you have concerns or questions this site is where you'll get support and answers from people sharing your situation.
It's difficult not to be a burden as you're in crisis, as time passes the panic and stress reduces and hopefully you can find the fighter within yourself, THAT is the key to not just wither into submission, you can still have a life if you're prepared to put a bit of work.
As your immune system is compromised, it's probably not a good idea to be boxing if that involves being bruised or punched, maintaining leg strength is your No.1 priority, doing things that challenge your head position is No.2, focus on those areas and your quality of life in future will be better, you have to re train your brain, it won't ever be 100% but compared to where you probably are now, it at least brings you closer to normal and you will feel better physically and more importantly, mentally.
Fatigue has been reported as one of the more troublesome symptoms of MS. I am not able to work anymore so I will grab a quick nap every so often. With that said, don't forget MS fatigue is not the same as feeling tired.
And no you are not moaning constantly - this is a brave new world you have been catapulted into, no clear pathways, overload of info. Real friends will cope with you venting - & also be brave enough to stop you being maudlin!! X
