I have been on Aubagio since last October. So far, I have not had any bad reactions to it. I had been on Tysabri, for neaarly 2years. I am JC virus positive, but my neurologist, thought the level wouldn't rule out taking Tysabri. They checked blood levels of JC virus several times while I took it, as well as other blood tests. Discuss this with your Dr., and make your decision. Good thoughts for finding the right medication for you.

Make sure you get your liver checked every month.

I have been on Gilenya for exactly 1 month. I was previously on Tecfidera. I left Tecfidera behind because the side effects were not good. I had a 2 months period where I was on nothing to let my body build up lymphocytes and rid itself of the Tecfidera. With only 1 month on the Gilenya it has already wiped out my lymphocytes. I'm down to 0.3. Now I have to go get tested for the JC virus. I don't know what the next steps will be if I'm positive.

I have been taking Aubagio since Oct 2016. You need to get your liver enzymes and blood counts checked for the first 6 months on this medicine. I just took my 5th test, don't have the results yet. I haven't had any trouble with thi drug so far, fingers crossed. I have seen some improvement in my symptoms.

Am on Aubagio. Only good about it, is that it is a pill. Don't like to have to get once a month blood work done, no time for it. I liked Tecfidera better. No frequent bloodwork. Dr. took me off of Tecfidera because of critical low WBC. Drat!! Why do all these DMT's have serious side effects? Either we get these side effects or risk relapses. No choice but to take a DMT!
