I'm due to change from tecfidera to Gilenya next month but have had enough of those tecfidera hot flushes (I've been taking it well over 2 years) so I'm stopping today.
So, any withdrawal symptoms I should look out for?

I have been on Tecfidera about 1 year. I still get flushing about 4 hours after taking it (during the day) but only a few times a month. Flushing typically goes away in about 15 minutes. Sorry if it is TMI, but Usually after a flushing I tend to have gas that day. Anyone else notice this?
I want to stay on this, and 18 years of injections really got old!
Best of luck!!!

I was on Tecfidera 17 mo. before i had to get of because of low WBC and go back to Rebif. My question is, would you rather put up with hot flashes, or wind up in a wheel chair? I've been on dmd's for 13 yrs and I say "suck it up" with the side effects and keep walking.

Try an anti-inflammatory diet while you are waiting. Google search for one you like and give it a try, you will be surprised.

Blimey just about to start mine and I know that's one of the side affects! They are supposed to usually go away after a short time and youve been on it 2 years!! Blimey if I get them and it lasts more than 2 months that will be it for me, you did well 🤗
