I'm having some further blood work done. He wants to retest my blood for Lyme disease also. Because the CDC has different requirements for the lime disease diagnosis then the medical field. I'm a little nervous because I not sure if it will be the right diagnosis either. I plan on staying on my Copaxone even if he suspects it's Lyme disease, because I don't want to wonder if I choose the wrong plan.
It's always been a question in the back of my mind, but once they found ms, I didn't ask. What did the Lyme disease doctor say? Did they test you?
I've heard that about the lyme tests. I know folks with lyme and affects them in many ways like MS does me. I don't really understand everything about how they reach MS diagnosis, but for me the final was the lumbar puncture. I thought that was a concrete confirmation. Guess there's no such thing. :)
I learned that sometimes people are misdiagnosed with MS when they really have Lyme. I guess a certain lyme test is better than other lyme tests.
what did you learn about that documentary on Lyme Disease?
