On my 6th day of 10mg starter pack. I have the flushing 20-30 minutes after every dose, tried food, asprin, is this normal?? Spent 7 weeks on Copaxone with multiple episodes!! It feels like a "nuclear stress test " if anyone knows or had one....
Yes I have discussed it with doctors/tecfidera...they say it's normal. Even though I still experience the flushing it's no where near as bad as it used to be. And it's not all the time either, but it does suck and it is an uncomfortable feeling.
@A MyMSTeam Member, thanks, wow, I was told the flushing was temporary and should go away after a couple weeks, experiencing that feeling should not be a normal thing, it puts a lot of "stress" on your system, is your doctor/tecfidera people aware it still happens?? I compared it to a "nuclear stress test ×'s ten!!!", - ( instead of walking on a treadmill, doctors "chemically induce" stress on your body to measure heart, etc) *** that is MY opinion/thought, not advice for you!! :) :):) !! I know everyone is different ! Good luck !
I have been on Tecfidera for over a year and flushing 20-30 minutes after I've take the medicine is normal for me. I have noticed that hot, burning sensation doesn't last as long as it used to the first couple of months I started taking the medicine.
