I have been dealing with pain in my right thumb joint for several months. I have off and on numbness and tingling in my hand. My left wrist has continuous pain as well, but my hand is fine. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Is it MS related?
@A MyMSTeam Member yeah, it's still a mystery for sure (!) but I am thankful it went away. It was so very painful and all the DRs could tell me at the time was to quit keyboarding (typing on a typewriter...I'm old LOL!), playing flute/guitar, and volleyball & soccer. Well, I didn't quit any of those, but it slowly got better over about 10 years. Who knows.....maybe it's somehow related to my MS.... Thanks for asking the question! I love it when I find something new that might help or be the cause of this disease... XX
I have a prescription for Diclofenac that my primary doctor gave me months ago. I took some yesterday and it has helped tremendously. Thanks for everyone's feedback
YES!!!!! Before i was diagnosed I worked on a computer 10+ hours a day, I thought I was getting carpel tunnel. Than just went away. Now about 2 months ago it's back! I totally feel for you. I just saw the neuro last week and told him another one of the many symptoms
I certainly do and at first they thought I had carpal tunnel syndrome but turns out it was neuropathic pain due to ms, initially lasted about 6 months then eased for about 4 months and now I have it again. Hope you get some ease
Now that I think about it, lasted for three months. I guess I just got use to it
