Question... On Monday November 6 I go to the doctor to decide what medication I should take. I don't know what type of MS I have, but I do know I have lesions on my brain, brain stem and spinal cord. What would you suggest I start with??? I'm so confused πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”

It depends on the type of MS you have; there are 4 types ; if you have RRMS or Relapsing Remitting MS then after being put on injections subcutaneous Copaxone, intramuscular Avonex, and now capsules Gilenya personally I would recommend Gilenya. I have gone nearly 3 years without RELAPSE on it and you take 1 capsule/daily.

All we can do is guess, based on our own personal experience with medication.

We all know that MS is totally random, and will have a different effect for all of us, and we should therefore listen to our Doctor...

I would pick a top three list? Personally I would lean towards Tecfidera or Tysabri. I would also look up the side effects & the chances of each medication working. Then ask your neurologist what their top 3 medication choices for you & why.
