Remember my brain MRI.. Radiologist said on my report 'the callosal septal interface is involved '

Apparently Ninety-three percent of the MS patients demonstrated confluent and/or focal lesions involving the callosal-septal interface (CSI). These lesions characteristically involved the inferior aspect of the callosum and radiated from the ventricular surface into the overlying callosum.

Another interesting perspective, you always find great new content to post! My best friend says I have “MS brain”, a somewhat unflattering term for what she says is an increasingly obvious dullness in my cognitive abilities. I don’t feel different but have noticed I’m having more and more difficulty getting through books. I’m not surprised to hear that many of us have lesions in this area.

The location of MS scarring in the brain will lead to specific issues. There may be broader scarring which may lead to more similar symptoms. Just remember, I am not a doctor, I just dress up as one on Halloween.

That is a specific location in your brain. I found a link to an image that shows exactly where it is. Hope this helps:

Look at the image with open arrows.

Hi @A MyMSTeam Member. My MRI showed a lesion, “significantly larger than the rest” on my Corpus Colossum - which, apparently is where your right brain and left brain ‘talk’ to each other. Not sure if that’s helpful - or even interesting - I just know I wish my brain was talking to itself again.
