I just received my MRI results and it looks like I have four lesions on my spine. I have never had lesions on my spine before. Does anybody know if this means my MS is progressing?
It all depends on if those lesions are active or inactive.
Active, it's likely RRMS or SPMS.
If those lesions are inactive it is most likely PPMS.
I have 5 on my spine. Mostly fromC2-C4. I am numb 24/7 mostly right side. A little on the left. Can not answer as far as progression goes. The numbness is why I went to the doctor in the first place. Never knew I had MS until then. I just thought I was stiff all these years from years of physical strain on my body. Now I was diagnosed 5 years ago. Point being, don’t sweat it. You can adjust if need be. One thing for sure, ya gotta love this thing of ours. Sure makes for an interesting day.

Well I would have to say if you are developing new lesions your MS is progressing. Are you on any treatment? Fortunately DMDs can help slow the development of new lesions and hence slow progression. Good luck to you!😊
From what I hear Progression is when you keep having new issues. If there isn’t numbness that’s constant they may just be small lesions! I have a lot of lesions from my first relapse when I was numb everywhere. The numbness stopped with the use of steroids.
