Diagnosed with first MRI in May, second flair and MRI in July both from ER so results were communicated immediately as I was admitted to hospital.

I believe it really comes down to what your feelings are and not what the "normal" procedures for MRIs are. It's worth at least a call to your doctors to see what's up. Remember, you will always be able to use the I'm new at this stuff so just play dumb and see where that gets you.

This is how it works with my neurologist at Penn Med. When I get an MRI, and I get a phone call, usually within hours, something “new” is found. And steroids are on the way the same day. Happened to me twice. If I get an MRI and I don’t hear anything right away, “no changes”. Then I get the MRI results via the “MyPenn app”. One of the reasons I go to Penn Med. So, no news is indeed good news.
