Hi everyone,

I'm switching from Copaxone daily injections (20 MG) to Copaxone three times a week injections (40 MG). Has anyone made the switch from daily injections to three times a week? How was the transition? Did you get any side effects, relapses, or would you never make the switch if you could do it again?

Thanks,
Jaclyn

I made the switch but I had a relapse so was switched. I have an infusion every 28 days. Less pain and easier to deal with.

I started off with daily injections back in 2015 i couldnt deal with the bruising and redness. So made the switch to Copaxone 3x a week. It was going good i didnt have any side effects or relapses but i was still experiencing the bruising and redness onsite that would last for days and days. Shortly after being on it for about 3-months i made the switch to Aubagio 1x a day pill. Best switch by far.

I made the switch a couple years ago and I would do it again. Sometimes I get more redness around the injection site but if I use an ice pack on the site it is better.

Let me know how it goes.

My insurance just told me I have to go to the generic version so I am a little nervous about that.

Good luck in using the generic brand and I am glad to hear that you are doing well after making the switch from a daily injection to 3x a week.
