I tried to contact my neurologist but he was gone for a couple of weeks. The MS nurse told me that because I'd had the symptoms before it was likely just the Heat of the summer causing a little bit of a flare up. Seeing as I was generally doubled over in pain and struggling to breathe it didn't feel like a little flare up. Then I found that my gait… read more

I believe there is not always a direct correlation between leisions and symptoms. Many people have multiple leisions and few symptoms so the reverse is true. You know yourself best. Keep a diary also

Tigerqueen, I am sorry to hear that. My Nero is very good but I was frustrated because it felt as though I was being told it isn't that bad so just deal. That isn't really what happened and he is doing his best to help me but like a lot of ms stuff, without seeing it on an MRI it is just my words and descriptions to go on.

I pray things level out for you quickly.

I experience very similar issues. MRI is stable so I attribute it to an MS flare. I would be as concerned as you worrying if the lesions have progressed. To put myself at ease I try to assess if I am having a worsening of previous symptoms or new symptoms. I still discuss it with my neurologist or his NP.
