Does anyone experience this terrible burning stomach + melting intestines feeling, alongside occasional skin flushing and burning up?

Do you eat before or after the pills?

Please help. TECFIDERA is basically my only option.

Thanks!
Liv

I have been taking this for five years. On rare days I have some issues but I can handle it. For flushing, take a low dose aspirin. For burning and stomach issues, eat some protein. That usually works for me. Peanut butter sandwich does the trick. Wishing the best! 🤗

As Mary said, Tecfidera causes flushing. They recommend taking it with food to lessen the effect.

One of the side effects of Tecfidera is flushing. Head to toe. When this happens take a low dose aspirin and it goes away.
