I've had ms since 09'. I'd been fortunate enough to have 20/20 vision all my life. For the first time, I feel like my vision is getting blurry on occasion. It definitely isn't as acute. I wonder whether this is something prescription glasses can help with. Forgive my ignorance when it comes to potentially owning glasses but I've never known what that'd be like. Thank you all who provide an answer in advance.

If you do go to the doctor inquire about prisms in addition to or instead of traditional perscription glasses. I was given glasses with a prism in one side to address blurry vision caused by double vision in one eye - sometimes it flares up more than others so I'm able to just wear them as needed so that may end up being an option and apparently is pretty common for MS!
I think I would just go get them checked to be on the safe side. I was like you always had 20/20 and then started having blurred and double vision at times. I have to have mine checked yearly though because of dieabetic, the thing I have to use is reading glasses at times. Hope and pray they get better praying for you, God bless.🙏🏻🙂
Don't be surprised if they can't get your prescription correct if you're having an episode of your ms. If you're not it should help. During an episode you're vision changes. It usually goes back to normal after you go back into remission. Good luck to you.
Im just getting over optic neuritis, and I found my glasses actually made things worse. Get your eye doctor to check it out.
Definitely go to an eye doctor. It is normal to have eyesight worsen over time as we age. An eye doctor should be able to tell you if your optic nerve looks good or if it's showing signs of optic neuritis.
