What were some symptoms you had when first being diagnosed?
Ms is sneaky just show up very irritating
Being nervous and falling down and didn’t want to be by myself
My first symptoms were fatigue and loss of taste and smell which lasted about six weeks. I then had double vision, vertigo and of course fatigue which again lasted about six weeks. After that it was optic neuritis, fatigue and vertigo which is what finally led to an mri and a diagnosis. Throughout this whole time I had a terrible itch in my legs that could not be scratched away and many other minor symptoms like tingling, numbness in different areas, Lhermitte’s sign. I suffered from severe migraines quite frequently as well which I now feel is related to the ms.
Went to neuologist and doctor complaining of
Headache
Vertigo
Pins needles
Double vision
Ms hug
Fatigue
Memory issues
Cognitive issues
Depression
Balance issues
Hand tremmor
Had all those issues but was finally diagnosed because my eyedoctor insisted i get the mri i had previously asked for but been ignored after i went blind because of optic neuritis
I bent over a baby gate to get the kitten. As I leaned over i got dizzy and fell into the garden tub, resulting in a gash in my head. The er did testing and I had a resident taking care of me. After a minute he asked me to smile and noted the right side of my mouth would droop slightly. So he said it could be a small stroke or possibly MS. So after some usual MS testing. They all pointed to RRMS. Here I am almost 6 years in and doing okay. Just seems recently I'm having more problems. I don't want to alarm my husband, but I feel I'm getting worse recently. Fatigue, having trouble performing AL'S, memory problems worse, balance prob going up and down stairs. Vision is worse. I'm scared my health is getting worse so quickly. I'm 47y.o. with lots of health problems. Depression, anxiety, HTN, type2 diabetic, obese, thyroid problems, etc.
