I am 55 and showing deteriorating osteopenia, but not yet to the level of osteoporosis. My question to my fellow MSers is what experiences have you had with bone loss and do you have ant advice for me? I take calcium and vitamin D. My Dr said I could wait 2 years and see how much further it progresses, or see an endocrinologist, but doubts they would do anything until it’s technically osteoporosis. Seems stupid to wait in my opinion and thinking maybe MS has something to do with it.

I’d actually see a rheumatologist now and do PT - it’s helpful to me!

I agree. Waiting doesn’t sound helpful at all. If anything you might miss something you CAN do about it now.
Follow your gut. You’re probably right.

I have same (just found out) and my doc told me same as @A MyMSTeam Member, take calcium sups. I've been taking Vit D3 (5,000IU's) and Vitamin K2 (there is K and then there is K2, it has to be the K2). I can't take K (weird you would think they did similar things but they don't) I have anti-phospholipid (fancy name for thick blood) but it does crap to you like give you strokes just because and makes you feel fatigued and other issues. I suppose to watch what I eat as far as greens bc certain foods thicken your blood as well. Anyway, got off topic.
I'm sure all of our docs say take Vitamin D (first think I was told when diagnosed) so if we are all taking mega doses of stuff for our bones why are they getting weak? hmmmm
