I found out I have greater than 20 brain lesions in multiple areas of my brain. The radiologist suspected MS but my spine MRI showed mostly normal with no lesions. I have been having pins and needles in legs and arms (not at the same time), my foot goes numb or tingly when sitting and laying down, extreme fatigue, pain in extremities (legs, arms, back, neck) not at the same time and also left eye pain. My right foot falls asleep or hurts and numb feeling when I drive or sit in one spot. I have… read more

There are several illnesses/conditions that can mimic MS symptoms -- let's hope you have one of those -- they're curable!

That's what your doctor(s) are working on now. Diagnosing MS is tricky and since an MS diagnosis comes with an immediate, strong recommendation to go on a DMT drug -- some of which have literally lethal side effects -- it's not a diagnosis that a doctor wants to screw up,

I have no lesions on spine. I do have what my ms doc says is multiple brain lesions. More than ten. My problem area is my eyes. Loss of vision. Eye pain

@A MyMSTeam Member, I have lesions on my brain but my spine at last MRI is still clear of lesions. It took my neurologist almost a year of ruling out everything else before he finally diagnosed me with MS. For a short period of time he thought Lupus but when my MRI’s came back he changed to MS. Wish you all the luck in the world and hope you get treatment started soon.

Thank you Desiree. I hope all improves with you. My doctor said my spine mri being normal does not rule out ms but I haven’t had a follow up yet. I have pain in my eyes or one eye but I have not noticed vision problems. I have cramping pain in the legs and arms and pins and needles. Also pain in the stomach like the ms hug and numbing in my feet. I am hoping to find answers soon.
