First, it took a week for symptoms to go away, but now it takes months. Is it just me?
When I had my first flare-up it was on my optic nerve, it went away in a week. I'm currently struggling with it now for more than a month. Is it a mind-over-matter thing? Does it play in my subconscious?
I don't want to blame everything on MS, but lately, that's all I've been doing because people don't know what MS is and don't want to learn about it.
I don't really have a good support group at home… read more
Thank you so much for this.
When I look to the right (like side eye to the right), there's this feeling that goes through my body from my head downwards. It's hard to explain.
I thought its just something that will pass by 💔
I hope you are seeing an opthalmologist. They can tell you have an autoimmune disease by examing the eyes. MS definitely causes eye problems! The meds should work faster than that. And it is critical that you get care. I had optic neurtitis before, but I routinely get iritis, too, but last time my usual steroid eye drops didn't kick in, and it turned out it was scleritis, which required an oral steroid. That kicked in right away. I have lost much vision in my right eye, and now often have double vision in that eye as well. Don't delay getting care for your eyes. And when you are on steroids, you must follow the instructions exactly as prescribed or that, too, can cause glaucoma. Take care!
