Do you sweat even if you're asleep?
Yes! I have a fan on me all day, when I go out use a neck fan, in the con need air con on and might have a fan next to me!! It’s ridiculous 😩 x
Yes! Even doing a little tidying or dusting has my brow and scalp dripping liquid sweat. It's horrible. Anyone found anything that helps besides a fan and/or mopping up with tissues? 🥲
Hello Flossfreak,
I have to tell you , that right after my first MS attack I sweat like you wouldn’t believe!
I can’t do anything at all , if I go out in the Sun I sweat to the point that my clothes are drenched. I know that it’s MS. That’s not the half of it, I think that everyone that has MS should look into the John Cunningham virus, I thought that I had PMR, ( Polymyafacial Rheumatica). But now I’m wondering if I have PML.
The John Cunningham (JC) virus is linked to the autoimmune disease multiple sclerosis (MS). MS is a disorder of the central nervous system, which includes the brain and spinal cord. MS destroys the protective coating (called myelin) on nerve cells, leading to problems with balance, coordination, and muscle control.
The JC virus is common; most of the general population has been exposed to it. However, if someone who’s been exposed to the virus later develops a compromised immune system — by taking immunosuppressants to treat MS, for example — the JC virus may eventually resurface. If the virus crosses the blood-brain barrier, it can cause progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML), a dangerous brain infection.
MS has hit my body's temperature control system, so I sweat and have chills at various times which make to sense given the temperature around me. It's just another one of the "fun" things with this disease. 🙄
@A MyMSTeam Member I never sweated before I started MS infusions, now it's like whatever minimal thing I do I'm soaked in sweat and you can see the sweat dripping 🤔 and yes anything above 70 is a killer for me
