why would you change your DMT if what you were on was working, this makes no sense, I would find a new neurologist, one that has good reviews from MS patients receiving DMT treatments

My MS Neurologist did the same thing for me. She said at my age, 61, it was more risky to face the problems of immune suppression that is definitely caused by DMT’s than the very unlikely appearance of new lesions. I was terrified at the thought of being without my DMT. However, for the last year I have been doing well. Welcome to the world of once again being too old for something!!!!

Dr. Boster says that the only people that should not be on a DMT drug are dead people with MS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PrxbRPJ61A

I was diagnosed in 2001. Nothing happened after my initial symptoms. I was on Tysabri during all that time. We moved after my husband retired. The doctor here changed my medication, as I for all those years, was allergic to Tysabri. She started me on Ocrevus and just a few months ago I developed drop foot. So, I my dx was 23 years ago and now I have developed new problems. It doesn't matter how long, get a Multiple Sclerosis Neurologist and get checked. Sending 🙏

My doctor stopped my meds at 65. My doctor said the same thing. So far so good.
