What are you taking? What is it costing you? (Side effects) Does Botox injections help? I'm on bacolfen 80mg per day {30am-20noon-30pm} My spasticity is so bad that I'm not walking properly. I'm dependent on the wheelchair for long distant walks (anything over 100 steps)
Valium helps with spasticity?! Wow! I'm gonna ask doc if I can try that. The baclofen doesn't seem to be working. I thought Valium was for nervousness mood type stuff
@A MyMSTeam Member ....I have an AFO brace, but it only gets in my way. The leg is so rigid...the brace doesn't seem to help. Not to mention how hassling it is to put on & take off. I don't like driving with it on ๐๐พโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ
I take lorazepam it works ., for the spasms and cramps yes the panic med . So far I pay for my migraine botox . Insurance wants me to take all the pills that make me so sick . My insurance does cover it .
I get botox injections in both lower legs and feet for spasticity every 90 days and they have me on Valium (diazapam) throughout the day 3x a day to help and shockingly enough the Valium is one of the FEW meds that I take that really show me a difference. Sometimes I wonder if all these meds I take do what they say but that one really did... even more noticeable to me than the botox.
My healthcare professionals aren't listening to or attending to my problem. I am unheard & ignored.
