I have swallowing problems at times, I don’t see it getting any better. When talking pills or vitamins, I take them with the aid of apple sauce to make swallowing easier.

Margaret, as a nurse, my suggestion would be to check with your doctor for possible referral to a speech therapist. Just waiting for it to pass could prove dangerous. You could have a serious choking episode before it resolves on its own.

I would get with your doctor before you have the issue of aspirating your medicine into your lungs, I've done that and it caused all kinds of new problems.
