This is NOT a cure for MS. Understanding the causes will help doctors in terms of eventually finding disease treatments, both as in prevention and even a real cure, but do not have false hope: research has been going on for many decades, and even if they are able to eventually discover the root causes of MS (likely not one singular cause) then we are looking at many more decades of research and testing involved in simply creating a preventive vaccine. Curing those of use who have MS involves a vast goal: to both cure us of our disease and to repair the vast damage wrought by it will not be achieved. Ever. Period. I have all of my MRI scans, I have a very detailed understanding of my disease and the damage I have suffered because of it. Dr. James Dawson first determined that many of us MS patients share a brain damage signature effect back in 1916. Since he found it the pattern has been called Dawson's Fingers (https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/art cles/315437#dawsons-finger-and-ms-diagnosis). That was 109 years ago. I have seen this in my own brain. Does studying every aspect of the human condition matter? Definitely. Will the gut biome be essential and need to be supported? Certainly. Even my own long term life plans for managing the effects of MS includes my biomen health and effects of my diet and my habits on it. But no illusions: this is but one part of maintaining this machine I call my body well overall. Live as well as you can, and you will live as long and as well as you can as well.

Definitely a good study that may help doctors understand a bit more about what causes MS. Valid research to help better understand cause is always a good step! Thanks for sharing… Hopefully this will contribute to answers of how to eventually cure and and even eliminate MS. 🙏🏻
