I, had both of My Kids after the MS DX. My Husband is the one who got up every Two hours to feed Them. I. Organized things so I wouldn't have to walk with the Babies. I, had both of Our Kids Natural. With no Pain Mefication.

One MyMSTeam member shared that pregnancy actually provided an unexpected period of relief from feeling self-conscious about MS symptoms. During pregnancy, certain physical changes like gait issues were less noticeable as they blended with typical pregnancy symptoms.

While there were initial concerns about delivery due to MS affecting core muscle control, with proper medical support, the member was able to have a successful birth experience. The process helped them feel more "normal" and transcended their MS diagnosis. Key tips for having children with MS:

• Work closely with your neurologist to manage medications during pregnancy
• Discuss delivery concerns with your healthcare team early in the process
• Remember that many people with MS successfully have children
• Consider building a support network to help with childcare needs
• Talk to your doctor about managing potential postpartum fatigue

While MS may present some unique challenges during pregnancy and parenting, with proper medical support and planning, having children is absolutely possible for many people with MS.
