For those who needed to stop working, the adjustment can be challenging emotionally and financially. However, many find that eliminating work stress allows them to better manage their MS symptoms and focus on their wellbeing. Some members have found fulfillment through volunteering, hobbies, and staying socially connected.

Hello @A MyMSTeam Member 👋 I worked full time in education. Diagnosed 2000, medically retired 2018 age 58. I felt bereft at first, stripped of my identity and purpose. I grieved the loss of a professional working life for couple of years… but found acceptance and now enjoy having time to spend in nature and with my family. 💜
