Members warmly embraced the idea that laughter is essential for navigating life with chronic illness, sharing how humor helps them cope with both good and difficult days. Several members described personal experiences with laughter as a lifeline, including one who reflected on overcoming a dark period of hopelessness by rediscovering joy and positivity through humor, while another playfully noted the impossibility of frowning while genuinely laughing. A recurring theme was gratitude for the community's support and the healing power of shared laughter, though one member expressed confusion after receiving a seemingly contradictory message from a doctor about posting jokes.

Thanks for the positive responses. I found myself many years ago not finding anything happy, or worth laughing at, which led me into a state of hopeless. That is such a dark place to be and I'm so very grateful to not be there anymore. So the more laughter, the more positive attitude and experience IMO!

@A MyMSTeam Member I just watched and I giggled at that one thanks for sharing. I showed it to my 21 year old dirt merchant. I told him when his time comes I guess this is how he will be returning to Earth

Laughter is very important. There are many instances I have to laugh at myself.
