Wow! I didn't know this. I do have problems swallowing with coughing. I was once told it might be pharangeal spasms but this reminds me to talk to my neurologist about it.

Yes. A couple of years ago I was having problems swallowing and my neurologist sent me to a speech therapist. I worked pretty well for me.
