How can you manage restless legs with MS?

It sounds like you're dealing with uncomfortable leg sensations today. While Arnicare gel may provide some relief, there are several approaches that other MyMSTeam members have found helpful for managing restless legs and uncomfortable sensations.

Some drug-free options to try include:
* Applying ice packs to help numb the nerves
* Gentle stretching - stretching your muscles can provide immediate relief
* Using compression or gently pressing on the affected area
* Distraction techniques to take your mind off the sensations
* Applying oils, lotions, or creams (like you're doing with the Arnicare)

Physical activity and exercise can also help reduce these uncomfortable sensations for many people with MS. Even gentle movement when you're able can make a difference.

If the restless leg sensations persist or worsen, it's worth mentioning to your neurologist. They can help determine if it's related to your MS, a medication side effect, or if adjustments to your treatment plan might help. Some MyMSTeam members have found that these sensations can signal it's time to rest and pace activities.

Taking it one day at a time is exactly the right approach - listen to your body and give yourself grace on the tough days.
