Painful spots on the face and neck that don't itch but hurt when touched β€” that's definitely worth paying attention to, especially with MS in the picture.

Skin issues can show up with MS in a few ways:

- MS itself can cause unusual skin sensations due to nerve damage (called demyelination)
- Some disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) can trigger skin reactions like bumps, welts, or rashes
- Painful (rather than itchy) spots may point more toward a medication side effect or a separate skin reaction worth checking out Since the spots are painful and localized to your face and neck, it's really important to let your neurologist or doctor know as soon as possible. They can help figure out whether it's related to MS, a DMT side effect, or something else entirely that needs its own treatment.

Don't wait too long on this one β€” painful skin spots that are spreading deserve a proper look! 🩺

Do you think it is rosacea ? Is it all over or mostly your cheeks?
