Members engaged deeply with the question of whether environmental toxicity may have triggered their MS, with many sharing personal stories that pointed to possible connections between their surroundings and their symptoms. Several members described sensitivities to chemical cleaners, strong aromas, mold exposure, and even living near industrial plants, with one member noting a community with high rates of autoimmune illness near a large chemical facility. A recurring theme was uncertainty about the true cause, balanced with a strong desire to identify personal triggers and take ownership of their health journey.

@A MyMSTeam Member 13+ classmates that have MS ? That’s a lot of people . I do live my life and I am grateful everyday 🙏 Respectfully, I don’t agree it is a waste of brain power. I have this disease but this is still my body and I have a choice to try be the healthiest version of myself despite MS . If someone can figure out how to calm their individual immune system by eliminating their personal triggers for their relapses , I think they should. I think for some people it probably is gut bacteria , and that’s why when they change their diet they do better . You’ve had MS for a long time and know so much about the disease. I appreciate your response 😊
