I find out about how many of you have foot drop, are unable to walk ( are in a wheelchair), or need a care giver because of MS; and sometimes I feel a little guilty. Because I can still walk and definitely do not have foot drop and can take care of myself . I have quite a bit of compassion and empathy for other MSers too that are worse off than me! But where does this occasional GUILT come from??

Never "guilt" per se. I used to feel bad going to MS sponsered events,when others were doing worse than I. It was explained to me that I needed to show up. It gave newly dxd a different (positive) outlook on MS.
No I don't feel guilty because everyone who has MS is different. They told me 30 years ago I'd be in a wheelchair. I walk on a cane. I praise God for all the blessings we are not asked to face.🙏🤗🌺
I do not feel guilty for being better than others. I also don't feel guilty having homecare workers 8 hours every day. MS is what it is and we all have to use the resources the best we can.
I personally wouldn’t use the word guilt, but I would say I feel sad, empathetic or compassion for anyone who is sick or struggling with any type of disease.
No I never feel guilty. I've had drop foot, been in a wheelchair, muscle atrophy, went blind in my right eye. That vaccine. April 2021 first dose, May 2nd dose, then June is when my world exploded. I have worked extremely hard to get myself back to this point. I know where I was. Where I been. And where I'm from. I'm fuckin proud. 🤘🙏❤️
