"There are no clinical trials demonstrating that Lion’s Mane promotes remyelination, repairs myelin, or treats multiple sclerosis in humans. Small human studies have explored cognitive function (e.g., mild cognitive impairment) and mood, with some positive signals for memory or reduced stress, but these are not myelin- or MS-specific. "

No human trials

"Preclinical research (especially the 2021 Huang study and the 2003 in vitro work) indicates Lion’s Mane mycelium extract and specific erinacines can promote oligodendrocyte maturation, increase myelin basic protein, and accelerate myelination in developing or cultured neural tissue. This provides a plausible biological basis for potential supportive effects on remyelination pathways. However, translation to actual myelin repair in adult disease models or humans remains unproven. No high-quality clinical evidence exists for MS or remyelination benefits."
