Members rallied around someone with MS who was feeling overwhelmed and asking 'why me,' offering a powerful mix of emotional support, faith-based encouragement, and practical wisdom. Several members shared their own struggles with MS, including medication changes, physical pain, and unexpected diagnoses, and many found comfort in shifting the question from 'why me' to 'why not me.' A recurring theme was leaning on faith, community, and small daily acts of self-care to keep moving forward one moment at a time.

I always say. Why not me? I have to stop seeing myself as a victim.

Wrong questions. Why not you? You're not being punished; it's just your life. Find a way to deal with it. It's not easy. I do my make up almost every day and put on perfume. Prager U has good videos about dealing and finding happiness. I'm bed-ridden, so the wall in front of me is decorated in a way that makes me happy. I joined a dating site. It took a while, but I found a wonderful, caring man. Stop looking inward and start looking around you. I'm sure someone will view this as unsupportive but read it again. 🙏🙏🙏

Shirl, honey do not let anything win. Define what “it” is? One piece at a time. This way, you can compartmentalize and get rid of the negative and keep the positive. I do this every day and learned it before I had a MS
