My employer is offering basic life insurance and that's great but when I applied for supplemental life insurance, I was denied due to MS. Now, I want to start looking to get life insurance outside of what work is providing me and am wondering if I'll get the same rejection for every insurance company out there or, if I get accepted, I'll have to pay through the roof.
Thanks.
UPDATE: I received a letter from the life insurance company that said that based on the supplemental information I provided them, which was a letter from my neurologist telling them I'm doing great and am following the proper course of treatment as well as a letter from my manager telling them I did not miss work for any reason, they chose to reverse their decision and agree to provide me with supplemental life insurance. The moral of this story? Don't take no for an answer. Fight back!
I have life insurance through AAA because MS doesn’t cause death even though there is no cure
Global Life they don't do any cigarette testing anything like that I have MS for 25 years and I got it five years ago
I got life insurance . It cost a little bit more but I’m covered
I have trustage, $39 every 2 months for term life insurance. $75k coverage for 20 year period. If I live past 60, great, hopefully I am to get more insurance then. I am not going to sit around and waít on my demise but I will do my due diligence and get insurance for my family.
