Recently,I have been having severe burning in my hands, through my wrists up to my elbows. MY GOD, it is unbearable. Feels like my carpal Tunnel but x100. My husband has Voltaren crème, I end up using it 4x a day to numb it. I mentioned it to my neuro but nothing has been done yet. Its so hard to write, type, hold things. Anyone have this?
The neuro can tell that? ...what areas will be affected by where my lesions are? ...another thing I was not told...
I have burning sensations almost all the time, usually in the arm/shoulder area, but yesterday I had it in my face. I am newly diagnosed, but I believe this is a fairly common symptom with MS. I have not heard of voltaren creme but my Neurologist gave me clonazepam to help tone the symptoms down a bit and it did help. I am taking a very small dose 2 to 3 times a day for awhile. I haven't had bad side effects with it and it did help a bit...I hope this symptom goes away soon for you!!!
Arnica!! Gel . It’s in the bengay aisle. It’s all natural . And burn spray with lanicane
He may also put you thru a nerve conduction test. That will pinpoint what nerves are affected.
I have been taking Topomax for 5 years now for migraines. This burning feels like my carpal tunnel coming back. Its nuts!!!
