I was on Gilenya for only two months because I was getting a bad side effect that affected my eyes. Can't remember what it was called...(love MS brain ) the Gilenya company paid for my eye specialist and my doctor whipped me off it and put me on Tecfidera which I have been on for the last year and a half.

I took Copaxone for 17 years. No problems until the last year, just injection reactions. I started Gilenya in July 2014. No changes, so far so good!

Lol well i hopefully will be on it 2 weeks from today. Lets see what happens

All you can do is try it. It may work differently on you than it did on other people. The main thing is to be on something.

I have been on Gilenya for almost 3 yrs. no negative side effects. Pryor I was injecting rebif had a rare arterial ocular occlusion or stroke to the eye now I am blind in one eye😉 before that coppaxon it did not control my relapses like injecting water. Before Avonex the side effects made me sick like the flu 3 days a week for 10 years. I strongly recommend Gilenya good luck!
