Wondering if anyone taking aubagio has experienced bruising easily.I haven't taken prior any ibuprofen or anything else that thins the blood. A bruise the size of a thumb print appeared after I had nerve conduction on my hands where the technician handled my arm to position it. Now the bruise is 3 times its original size.

Members responded to a question about Aubagio and easy bruising, with many sharing that they had experienced similar bruising while taking the medication. Several members suggested bringing the bruising up with a doctor and mentioned that a blood clotting test may be recommended to check if anything is off. A recurring theme was that despite side effects like bruising and hair loss, many found Aubagio to be one of the easier MS medications to tolerate overall.

Let your doctor know. Maybe there is test as Melanie mentioned to check for clotting.

If I remember correctly they did a blood clotting test because of the bruising.

I took aubagio last year but not for long, but I did bruise easily, I still do, I think it could be an individual thing with MS patients.

I just noticed bruise's on my legs and I'm not and have never been easy to bruise so I'm concerned I started it back in feb of this year. I had the hair loss and like others cut my hair short to deal but that has since stopped. No other side effects this has been the easiest drug for my body to handle so I hope that it's not an issue from it!

I just noticed the bruising. My experience w/Aubagio has been so uniformly good (energy, concenntration, walking) that I'm hoping they let me continue.
